There are many different types of anxiety. Almost everyone experiences anxiety at one point or another in their life. One common type of anxiety is situational anxiety, which occurs when you are nervous about an upcoming event, such as driving in a snowstorm or taking an airline flight. Situational anxiety is usually short-term and will go away as soon as the intimidating event is over. Situational anxiety is usually not a big problem; it’s when your anxiety becomes chronic that it starts impacting your life in a destructive way.
